  • Why should I book a professional hair and makeup team?
    • Your wedding day is likely the most important life event you’ve experienced thus far. You’ve hired the best of the best vendors so that you’ll have the best experience, the best pictures and the best day ever! Why wouldn’t you want to have the best experience being pampered the morning of your wedding day? Not to mention that the incredible photographer you hired will take a million pictures and you and your bridal party will look AMAZING in those images!!
  • Why should I hire White Carpet Bride?
    • Well, we think we’re pretty awesome! The real reasons, though, are these: we provide a luxury experience on your wedding day and do so by providing clean, timeless looks for you and your party that will photograph beautifully.   • Should I have a preview appointment (some call this a trial)?
    • YES! Did we say this loud enough? Let’s say it again. ALL. THE. YES. It is so, SO important to have a preview appointment. Not only does it allow you the opportunity to preview your bridal look but it also gives all of us the chance to get to know each other and make sure you’ll love having our team as part of your wedding day!

  • When should I schedule my appointment?
    • We suggest scheduling at least 6 months to a year in advance to ensure that we will have availability – especially for notoriously busy weekends! Don’t fret, you can always inquire for availability and book closer to your wedding day though!
  • Should I bring people with me to my preview?
    • We always welcome you to bring a mom, sister, MoH, or whoever’s opinion you trust to your preview. However, we do have limited space and seating so we ask that you limit the attendees to 2. 
  • What if I change my mind on my hair and makeup style between my preview and wedding day?
    • It happens alllll the time. FOMO is real babes! We are fully equipped to make changes on the fly and we our confident that we can make your dream a reality (with or without an additional preview!). 
    • We absolutely understand should you desire an additional preview and are happy to welcome you back! The standard preview fee does apply. 
    • We do suggest that once you have had a preview and you LOVE it, that you should stop looking for the next best thing. Believe us, it’ll make your life so much easier!
  • How should I prepare?
    • Prior to your preview –  Take a look at Pinterest to get an idea of what you like (and DON’T like) so that we can better understand your vision of your bridal look. We also ask you to connect with your bridal party so you come in with a good estimate of how many people need hair and makeup. 
    • Day of your preview – We prefer clean, dry hair that hasn’t been heat styled. However, we understand you’ll likely be coming from work so come as you are (just know your hair may not behave the same way on your wedding day)! But please, come with dry hair!
    • If you plan to wear any accessories, veils, or hair extensions please bring those!
  • What is good verbiage to make myself familiar with?
    • After searching through all those gorgeous pictures on Pinterest you’ll be able to discover if you like a smooth style, textured style, natural makeup or glam makeup. 
  • Can I book without a preview?
    • We understand that certain situations may prevent a bride from being able to have a preview appointment prior to booking their wedding day. However, the majority of the time we do require a preview appointment to proceed in the booking process. We love learning all about you, your wedding day vision and ultimately your bridal beauty vision. This time at the preview allows us to be more efficient on your wedding day so that you and your party don’t have to spend alllllll day getting glammed. Plus, you have to peace of mind knowing that we can nail your style and makeup!
