What has White Carpet Bride been up to?

The White Carpet Bride team is not only passionate about weddings and hair/makeup but also our city and its people! Our hearts are most full when we are able to serve our community and there are so many other wedding vendors in Kansas City that feel the same. In keeping with our desire to give back to our community, UnBridal was born.

Kansas City is so full of talented visionaries that have huge hearts. UnBridal has allowed us to marry (see what we did there?) our passions to give back to wonderful benefactors while exercising our creative muscles. From couture veils and gowns, to custom menswear, interactive food and drink and immersive art, UnBridal has it all.

This year we chose a theme – The Artful Wedding- that would be bright, bold and benevolent. We were lucky to have so many people that invested so much of themselves at UnBridal 2019 to create an unforgettable night benefitting Halo Kansas City and Imagine That! The two amazing organizations both incorporate art into their missions. Imagine That! is a non-profit arts studio in the Crossroads Arts District supporting artists with developmental and intellectual disabilities. IT!KC is a program for Resources for Human Development. HALO puts KC homeless kids on a path to a positive future. Through therapeutic art programs, tutoring, professional development, scholarships and help preparing for higher education, our kids work hard to leave the “at-risk” label behind and finally be seen as just a great kid with the potential to do great things.
